in the morning all will see just how crazy young love can be
dream luella prom dresses; dream location to wear them in . if you've already graduated, what did you wear to your prom ? & if you haven't, what do you envision yourself wearing ?
I lurve Luella, those dresses are perfection. I also didn't have a prom. But when I graduated and had a "formal" I wore a simple black dress. Thinking back on it now, I wish I made more of an effort.
i wore a short crazy vintage flapper-y dress from this shop in miami called c. madeleine, if you're ever there, it's literally amazing. celeb sightings all the time in there. it's still my favourite dress in my closet.. i really should wear it more. i was in a serious addicted-to-teen-vogue phase at the time and i almost wore it with white trainers....thank god my mom stopped me. xx meg
I just found out that prom is in barely over a week. I guess I need to pay more attention to dates. I have no idea what I'm going to wear, but I do love all of those Luella dresses.
oh my gosh. i would murder to wear those dresses to prom!! unfortunately, my hobo self could never afford those, so i will probably end up with an urban outfitters dress. im happy with that conclusion though. i dont think i will go to prom this year actually. i hate school dances. so i dont know why i am talking about prom dresses. ahhahaha.
ahaha..WELL!! if i could just pick?? i definitely love the MuiMui and the LUELLA here YUMmOO
i wore Marc Bower it was really pretty but if i went back now i would have went decked out in something punk a la Vivienne Westwood tartan plaid or A.WANG oh my gosh how lovely would that have been??? even a DIY of it-oh! and that lovely BALMAIN dress that Selita Ebanks recently wore to the Valentino event-oh YESSS!!! that one definitely takes the cake..awwyour making me remanence :) xxOOoo
Hey, thank you for stopping by my blog the other day and leaving your suggestions!
I didn't go to my prom, haha, I was the new kid during my senior year, so I thought it best to go away for the weekend with the good friends I had made rather than spend the night with a bunch of complete strangers. It was amazing! :D
I'm so sad that I'm never going to have a prom again :( My year 11 dress was a 50s shape sweetheart neckline forest green number, but last year's was bright pink, floor length and basically massive. think belle from beauty and the beast but fuschia/salmon. over the top but I adored it. how amazing would it be to be able to wear luella to prom though?!
I have no idea what I'm wearing to prom (or if I'm going) and it's in less than a month. Ack. Loveley dresses and location! Definately something to dream about.
I wore a cheap dress (30 bucks). I got it at the last minute, I not was planning on going but a friend invited the day before. I also bought these shoes by Nina. I hate them. I've only worn them one other time. I would of love a vintage dress or something by Erin Fetherson.
I love what this post conjures up, you're so good with creating an idea or atmosphere...not sure how to say it!
ReplyDeleteLovee Luella
aw, haha! thanks deary!
ReplyDeletelove the story behind the dresses. you would make a great screen writer/poet/novelist! perhaps we'll see some in the near future...?
we don't have prom in norway like you guys do, but the yellow dress would def. have been an option on what to wear :)
